Tree Frog (Agalychnis
callidryas)
This Tree Frog greeting card image doesn't show the adhesive pads
that allow them to stick to the undersides of leaves and vertical
stems/trunks. Whilst most tree frogs live and feed in trees the majority
descend to water to breed choosing lowland rainforest areas close
to rivers. This Red Eyed Tree Frog is found in parts of South America
and most of Central America, it has been found as far south as Southern
Mexico. The body is usually bright green but it is often splashed
with other colours like blue or yellow. The Red-eyed tree frog can
change colour from a darker green to a red-brown. Females grow to
7cm whilst the males are slightly smaller, about 5.5cm
This Tree Frog greeting card image can also be found on our key
rings and fridge magnets
